What is the reasoning behind making changes in each season?

League is becoming more and more complicated to play.

20% that.. 10% that... every 3rd smite... if both players use this...

I hope Riot understands that the reason why it beat DOTA is because of its simplicity.

I remember when I first started out in season 3. Everything was so simple. The game was easy to learn and adopt.

I felt like I was able to become good at it after some practice.

Now the game is so complicated I have to calculate this and that.. Learn what the meta is... What is being nerfed/buffed..

I will continue to play, but I think very likely I will stop playing this game soon because it always changes.

Why did you guys relocated buff/nerf icons? I just don't understand the point of it? Just to look different?

Why did you redesign the map? It looks blend, 2D, and ugly.

Why do you keep insisting changes if there are millions of users every day playing the league?

Enhancing gaming experience..... I don't know... Not for me... The game is not the game that I played last year.

If I want some complicated MOBA game.. I will go with DOTA.

I don't understand this at all. Season 3 had a changing meta and tons of nerfs and buffs to understand. What makes today's game harder to approach for you?

I think the new map looks amazing.

They want League to last at least a decade. A stagnant game eventually dies.

Also, they know their game has problems and they want to improve it. For example, back in season 3 comebacks basically didn't happen; a 10% gold lead at 15 minutes was a >95% chance of victory in games between two competent teams. That made the game less interesting, both to play and to watch.

Certainly that's true, but I don't really see where season 5 is all that complicated. Maybe the new jungle is harder to understand, but I think you're mostly reacting to there just being a lot of new stuff. There has been a lot of new stuff every preseason, it'll settle down and feel normal soon.

The most complicated of the changes are only really relevant to Junglers, which is supposed to be the most complicated or challenging role in the first place.

Honestly, it kinda just sounds like you have your knickers in a bunch over nothing.

Keep the game feeling fresh, and/or attempt to tackle inherent problems with design. In this case, trying to provide tools that appeal to a wider number of strategies, specifically jungle strategies, not only to give these strategies viability, but to have 'levers' to pull of strategy X becomes too dominant.

The relocating of buffs, I understand, is something most people aren't happy with, but appariently Riot wants to keep 'important, actives' buffs directly in your field of view, while more 'passive' buffs get put off to the side; I can understand this with purely cosmetic 'buffs' like the Jinx + Caitlyn/Vi thing, but I still question the relocation of certain buffs.
