From an ADC main, about Assassin changes

I believe, that the direction Riot has taken with Assassins, is going to make us ADC's too strong. That in turn will lead to either nerfs to our class, or buffs to tanks, and it will be tank meta all over again.

Assassins are the natural enemy of ADC's. We are the natural enemy of tanks. Assassins were struggling on teamfights as it was, extending their burst window isn't going to help that.

What I believe Assassins should do in relation to ADC's:

  1. They should beat us 1v1, period. We should take care of our asses and not wander around alone. (Assuming the ADC isnt ridiculously ahead, that is).

  2. On a teamfight, if an Assassin gets on us, we should die. If they get CC'd before they get on us, they should die.

  3. Generally, Tanks and Assassins should be approximately equally footed. (Or on 1v1 neither can kill other due lack of damage)

LeBlanc isn't really an assassin anymore. Talon lost a lot of outplay potential with losing his blink. I'd consider giving him blink back on the form of his E in that if he targets an unit (not ward) he blinks on them (does no damage but applies a passive stack if enemy unit) and if he doesn't it functions just as now, or giving him a blink on his R so that casting it on an enemy champion after initial R cast causes him to blink on them. The blink could be used to dodge a lot of stuff before. Rengar and Kha'ziks are rather fine, they might need some tiny nerfs even due their numbers. Akali changes are... Weird. I believe her first auto should have damage, second auto heal. E change is fine thou. Katarina seems fine as well, its mostly LB, Akali and Talon. This post is mostly directed at Riots recent comments about extending Assassin burst windows.

I understand that its not fun to get one shotted, but that's where beauty of playing ADC lies. We need to think ahead to avoid getting assassinated. We need to know enemy champions, what they have and if its safe to join the fight. Once assassin gets to us we misplayed, the counterplay shoudn't happen once they are on us, but before. Assassins should counter us, and they should be able to assassinate us if we are reckless. Just like we should be able to melt tanks with our sustained damage. Another thing which could help, is to make crit function like it functions on Ashe, as in her first auto doesn't crit, subsequent ones "crit" but for less damage than other ADC's autos. That would reduce our initial burst, because we really are not a class that should oneshot things.

No riot was right about extending assasins damage. assasins were so toxic to play against.if they would get a single kill, u could kiss ur lane goodbye(as a mage). And talon has a way higher skill cap with his new E

Uhh most assassins were barley played at all last patch so I don't see how this would have a big impact on the meta one way or another. At least once people get over the initial newness phase.
