Riot please make the surrendering votes were you only have to get 3/5 votes to surrender.

Cowards surrender. Dicks force them to fight you at the nexus turrets looking for that gleaming hope of an ACE.

Except that, for some people, this match means a little more than it does to you. Maybe this is your mid laner's last match in his promo series. Maybe, by continuing to play and getting that miracle win, he finally gets to Gold.

I'm in favor of this, as well as the ability to solo opt out of a game that has carried on for thirty minutes or more with at least two failed surrender attempts, that leaves you immune to being reported for leaving the game.

All to often I've seen matches that were one sided 50 -10 enemies favor, carry on for an hour because one team wouldn't surrender and get it over with, and the winning team refused to go for the win, because a longer match means more IP for them.

It's really an abuse of a broken surrender system, when many of us would like to just get on to the next game.

Well it's true. And it's with their current reporting system, almost impossible to get trolls and griefers punished in the current system of things. The players tired of dealing with it are the ones actually being punished, and it's far from fair in a game with rules designed to protect the people just wanting to have fun.

I think it should be 5/5. I won't ever surrender unless the other team has clearly won and refuses to end the game.

This hardly ever happens.

Okay so the score is 50/0 enemy favor, all turrets still standing. You wouldn't surrender then? Yes, I've had this happen to me when I first started playing, before the match history tracker page on the site.

And my team refused to surrender for what ever reason.

Would you surrender then?

It only needs three votes to surrender right now, because if it is three for and none against, then it's a surrender, and if it is three for and one against, then it's a surrender. when at least two people in your game both wan't to keep playing AND have the awareness to say so in the vote, then it lets them keep playing. What I think is that they should reduce the timer for entering in your vote so that if you are going to say no, then you better say it fast instead of waiting for ages. Most of the time, surrender votes in any game I ever play are just trying to get a feel for who still wants to play or not, and usually aren't taken seriously, especially when it is immediately 1 for and 4 against.

The vast majority of games I see someone /ff it never matters because despite the game being definitively out of reach it either involves 2+ trolls who will no vote. or 1 troll and at least one person who wants to waste what will be at minimum ten more minutes of other people's time.
