So I am a bit confused I understand my mmr is a bit low due me losing a lot right now, but low enough to get an iron 4 on my team it just dosent make sense. I look at the mundos match history he consistently goes against high silvers and low golds and feeds in those games. You cant blame mundo for feeding he is just get completely fucked by matchmaking.

And he single handedly lost you the game.

I gotta laugh cuz he's been inting every game as trynd, then mundo... but randomly smurfs the game after that with a 15 KDA and 8.8 cs/m.

It's most likely someones smurf account they're tanking to iron intentionally.

And this is the reason it’s harder to climb out of low elo than it is to get from plat to diamond.

Riot: All working as intended!

It could be many things.

  1. A smurf who's tanking his MMR intentionnaly to climb back after.

  2. A shared account (with 1 good player playing and 1 or more baddies)

  3. A noob paying to get boosted. A booster could play a couple of game and ofc win a lot (raises MMR) then the account owner takes back the account and since he's just really bad at the game, loses and goes back to wehre he belongs.

This kind of game is pretty annoying. That being said, over enough game, it evens out (meaning the enemy team will get that kind of player too and you'll get a free win). There's isn't much that RIOT can do other than banning the account. Ofc nothing stops the guy from making another account... banning the IP address isn't a very viable solution... most ISP use dynamic IP now so the banned IP could be given to another person at some point... also people can live in the same house and share internet (thus sharing the same IP).

I wouldnt give it much thought. We all get those game yet we manage to climb anyway. Just forget those game and focus on the good one

High chance he was gold or plat and tanked his rank to iron4 to troll. His mmr is probably still gold but you can lose ranking faster than you lose mmr in this game.

New accounts start with their MMR close to Gold, even when they are in Iron.

I think it's weird that they allow the duo q rule of not being able to play with someone who is more than a tier away from you to be broken in game matchmaking.

I was silver 1 before and played with a plat V hec. In my promos.

What do you mean that guy is the best Tryndamere NA, he was just not on his OTP Trynd.

Fresh accounts placed in iron had gold MMR, I placed one like that early in the year.

The rank and MMR even out on them over time but it can jarring when you see it in game.

He was duo queued with his jungler who was silver 1 last season.

I have golds in bronze and they're pure garbage. Rank doesn't mean anything
