Has anyone else run into this? I had a loooong stretch of games playing nothing but purple team, so I started a tally of what team I got placed on. In ranked alone, in my last 25 games, I played 22 on purple team and only 3 on blue. What's going on here?
something about people with higher average mmr are purposely placed on purple side but riot swears on baron's mother that's not the case. I kinda hate how I play 20 games on purple, get to promos, then have all those games be on blue side. I adapt to play one way, then i have to play another way, make up your mind, jesus.
Purple side has higher MMR. And TBH I'm the complete opposite of you. Hate that Blue side. For me Purple side has 0 disadvantages, yet Blue means your playing with players that are worse than the other team. Hate how I win most purple side games til i get to promos then they stick me on blue with a bunch of clueless players for 3 games in a row. And for some reason I have the exact opposite thing as you, or so it seems, I'll get like 22/25 on blue side and think WTF. Also hate FP yet seem to get it more than 50% of my games.
Why can't they just let me be 4th/5th pick. Filling wins games.
And this IMO would be a really great way to make Champ Select less trolly. Let people chose btwn two different queues for Ranked. One queue puts you in 1-3 pick position and the other queue puts you in 3-5 position. Seems like it would make people alot less troll as all those people that get last pick and then say "X role or feed" can just queue for spot 1-3 and let others fill 4th and 5th as I'm pretty sure there's as many, if not more, people willing to fill as there are people that say "X or feed."
And it would be much easier to implement into Ranked than the current Team Builder would be.
