WARNING! Snow Battle ARURF Will Tilt You!

Snow Battle ARURF has been on the PBE server for the past week or more. I and many others have come to the realization that it's more tilting than the original URF. You only get to play champions with a winter/holiday theme skin, so now its back to only seeing the same 20 champions, except now you're forced to play a randomly chosen one to add insult to injury.

ARURF is fine but ARURF with only about 20 champions available for everyone is not. This is just a heads up to not get your hopes up.

I will still be trying to make the best of it and I hope everyone else can too but lets be vocal about getting the URF that the majority wants.

You mean the URF that you want? What's wrong with a holiday-themed ARURF? It's just a limited-time event to have fun with. Chill breh.

Unfortunately we can't make an official poll for all league players but I'd bet my left nut they don't want an URF with a champion pool of about 20. Which has me confused why you think this is about me unless you're just fishing for an unnecessary argument or likes. Chill baby girl.

Not sure why you're so confident that your opinion is a reflection of the majority. Not that it matters, though. At the end of the day this game mode isn't a replacement of URF or even ARURF; it's a one-time derivative game mode for people to enjoy. If you don't enjoy it, then don't play it for the, what, couple of weeks it's available before being rotated out? Regular ARURF will be back at another time, and this one certainly won't be back for at least a year, assuming they don't come up with another Snowdown-themed game mode idea between then.

The confidence comes from the fact that they scrapped the original URF because everyone played the same 20 champions and the majority complained. Now in this new mode you're forced to randomly play only about 20 champions. Does that make sense?

I understand what you're saying, but that's not the same as it making sense. You're creating a false equivalency by being misleading about what URF's problems were.

In URF, people complained about how some champions simply couldn't be played because they were too weak compared to the "meta" champs (the "twenty" champs you speak of). That's why Riot changed the game mode to ARURF -- all random. By randomizing champion selection, no meta can be formed, which means no champion can be dominant beyond a game they happened to be rolled in.

In case you hadn't noticed, Snowdown ARURF is still fundamentally all random. And again, if you don't enjoy it, just wait it out for a few weeks.

Your confidence is merely a reflection of your own opinion, nothing greater. Meanwhile I've yet to even touch the mode, because I'm waiting for its release on the official server. I'm hoping you're also aware that regardless, since its release and up until now, someone'll have (and have had) a reason to be venomous towards this mode, like any other. There will be things to dislike about it, just as much as there will be something to like about it. It could also be that the mode is simply not for you.

As mentioned, special event modes are not meant to be common. All it simply means is, either you play it if you like it, don't play it if you don't.

I'm trying to explain this as simply as possible, I'm sorry if it's going over people's heads. It is not my opinion that URF was scrapped because people only chose 20 "meta" champions.

Where are you getting 20 champions from? its over 60 lol ive had a good time every time playing it. Plus most of the champs that you can play in it is fun lol. Or would you really want to play kindred and ivern in urf
