If I wanted to play toplane

I would play top lane.

Bruisers now dominate every lane on the map, edging out other champions from their roles to the point where they cannot function. Proper supports, adcs, and even some mages and assassins simply can't be picked up because their stats aren't up to par with the bruisers across from them. You can bully a bruiser until they get an item, but then they have the damage and the tankiness to out sustain any burst and you lose by default.

I don't want to play a bruiser. If I wanted to play a bruiser I'd be a jungler or a top laner. Bot lane shouldn't just feel like another top lane and I shouldn't have to play top champs in bot if I want my wins. There should be a place on the map for every champ to play and have decent footing. I've gone from playing 9-10 games a day down to one, and if I lose that one well then fuck it. It just feels bad to play and like I don't have a place in the game anymore.

I'm sure there's a lot of rants about this and have been for ages. I know I'm late to the party to complain about the meta and it's probably kicking a dead horse by now. And I'm not saying that lane diversity shouldn't be a thing. I just used to play support and adc and sometimes mid and now I feel like nothing whenever I load in and that sucks. I hope something changes soon.

Riot not enforcing the meta? Riot not playing favorites with ADCs anymore? Melee champs being viable against ranged champs?

The boards have been begging Riot for this to happen for years.

Its probably just an adc main crying I for one have not wnjoyed league this much in years What we see now is the people who complained before are playing the game And those who liked it the way it was have taken over complaining

Lol the only thing that I am semi salty about is this huge ass nerf to tp. Completely unneeded in my opinion, the cd of the tp now is already punishing enough if you misplay with it, they should just remove the refund on the cd honestly. Or just add like 20- 30 more secon the cooldown, not an entire fcking minute

I dabbled in adc last season, but my main role is support and mid. And in mid I prefer assassins, which are also forced out by bruisers in all lanes. So its not even as though I can just pick up and play my favourite champs elsewhere. I only become a liability to my team, and that sucks.

I don't really read the boards. I just came here to put out my own opinion. I know it'll get lost in a sea, and I know that it has the potential to be unpopular but. I just wanna be able to play.

I was one of the few people begging riot not to buff the most stat checky class in the game, but they did it.

Everyone was all "Hurr durr let bruisers be the main carry"

I hate top lane because playing against bruisers and tanks is not fun for me. But now every lane has bruisers. Get me out.

You're not the only one whose games are down, you're not the only one who feels forced out.

I bet Riot are looking at their playrates and FREAKING OUT. 'Oh good, now we have fewer players playing more roles, score!'

Maybe.

I see them trying to buff some adcs by giving them more damage, but I feel like the true issue is that they no longer ave a viable build path. Or maybe it isn't, since I'm not an adc main. I just know that with them gone, both of the roles that I enjoy the most ( support and mid assassins) are getting edged out leaving me no where.

It took them a couple years to revert prior mistakes with the roles that I enjoyed ( just now pulling back on the assassin reworks, and took them a full year or more to take a bat to ardent censor) so I'm disappointed with just how long I'm probably gonna have to wait before there is somewhere for me to be.

They won't revert their items, they took a LONG time to code, but they might tweak their accessibility and stats.

The thing I feel hurts ADCs most is their health early-game. Easy-bullying.

Speak only for yourself mate, please.

ADC's scaled up but assassins could still take them down. The game was playable in that time, as you are still here, having played it. But this is two classes, perhaps three, that are no longer viable within rift. Shifting out three roles for the sake of one doesn't seem fair.
