Matchmaking
I get the distinct feeling that a lot of hate is going to be sent my way over this, and lets face it, it's probably mostly going to be from people who are better at the game than me and therefore think I can't be right on any basis.
If you look at the link, you will see my problem. Hopefully.
Of my team I was Silver last season, so basically not good at the game, Fizz is as seen, Gold this season (so basically not much better), the Yi was level 11 at the time of writing, and the Corki was level 22 at the same time, with the Thresh being level 20.
On the opposite team we have a plat. A plat who then proceeded to destroy our entire team. Now from what I hear Plat 4 is where you actually see a major difference because you have officially become a fairly decent player. Huh.
Already the MMR balance of the two teams seems a bit off. All of their team showed consistent skill at every stage of the game, but I'm not going to be one of those annoying idiots to call out 'smurfs' because I have no way to prove it in any way. Regardless, if we look into the rest of their team, even the summoner level doesn't average out to equal values on both sides, although as we should all know, MMR is the real balancing factor in determining opposition.
All I'm asking is that some options of actually balancing out the matchmaking in normals is explored. Just because I don't want to play ranked because I don't really care about a shiny skin and god knows I'm not heading to Challenger anytime soon, shouldn't mean that the game has to be unnecessarily painful to play. If that's not possible, please oh please add in a surrender option pre-20 minutes that perhaps reduces the IP and XP gain proportionately to the amount of time before 20 minutes at which the game is surrendered.
TL;DR -Normal matchmaking should be changed, because not everyone wants to play solo queue. -If this can't happen, what's wrong with adding in an exploit-free method of pre-20 surrenders? -Try to be creative with your methods of hate on this idea.
