i think that with so many champs we should be able to ban more then 6 six total. there are going to be some champs banned all the time like

, that's already 2 out of 6 then you have to ban the broken champs and with over 100 champs its just not enough
Obviously we need more bans but if we got say 10 bans altogether, then in a while people would say that is still not enough and want more. Although there are a lot of very strong champions I would rather have that than everyone being banned.
Even with the addition of 40 extra champions, the size of the competitive champion pool has been hovering at a stable ~60 since Season 1. The soloQ pool is pretty much champions seeing competitive play + a handful pubstomps.
