I Need Advise Please

Ok so i only started this game for around a year now and i have been maining ekko with 250k + mastery points, but im having a problem and im in a stalemate cause i like playing ekko and i think im alright and i should improve but i got told i should play other champions form friends and being an OTP is bad so i did that i wouldnt say im bad at other champions but i feel like if i learn them im gonna lose the skill that i have with ekko and to compensate for this i have been trying to play a different champion every game to see of there are others i would like to learn and i have foundd some fun champions buttt i dont seem to have a spark like i wanna play them for long and im scared to be an OTP cause what if ekko gets banned , cause i wanna climb in solo q but im also scared ill suck from not playing other champions

idk what to do should i just play ekko and nthing else in every role i get ? should i play these other champions and have my fear of losing my skill with ekko haunt me then im in a crippled state that i feel like playing no one? Or can someone give me advice please ?
