Why not have 2 NA servers?

EU has multiple servers and that is a over a much smaller area. Now on the west coast we have 90+ ping. My friends and I are thinking about switching to other games since the new server makes the game much less enjoyable. Why don'e they just split NA and leave the old servers running too?

because that would just be logical and take money , actually there are probably reasons i just dont see any good ones.

The game is still very enjoyable at 120 consistent ping. As long as it's consistent, it's not too bad. But they said a while ago that they did a study and it made it so that you would be in queue for a much longer time if ELO and server were taken into account.

Where on the "west coast"? Are you using a major internet service provider or some crappy local provider?

If you have 2 servers que times go up because you essentially have now split the player base. And then comes the issue that why wouldnt they just split the regions entirely...because if NA east only plays against NA east and vise versa whats the point of having them both on the same rank bracket. You would essentially make diamond or whatever without ever playing people on the other server which really isnt fair. Those are the reasons i can think of.

Also they said EU has more because its alot more people in a smaller area so they needed 2 to deal with the spikes when literally everyone is getting on. Where as the US is much more consistent with people getting off about the same time the next set get on.
