Champions that remain fun even if you spam them:

Riven Very mobile, flexible, good split and teamfights, easy to pick up, but does take time and commitment to learn CORRECTLY. Biggest con would be the current itemization for her is very weird/punishing for inexperienced players and has a hard time with ranged matchups.

Fiora Very fun and fast paced, splitpusher, easy to pick up, very good at punishing bad players, good at dealing with tanks. Has kind of a hard time against other bruisers in the early game but has a lot of room to outplay.

Camille Sets up ganks really easily, mobile, tanky with good teamfighting, mainly focused on punishing other teams carries or misplaced targets, has a ton of hard matchups top so might not be the best choise.

Renekton The King of top lane, playing Renek will teach you trading patterns, understanding power spikes, wave management, tower dives. Very good sustain, one of the strongest early games and a decent late game. Can carry games easily in low elo because players dont respect your all in potencial.

Irelia Hypermobile with tons of teamfight potencial, can solo carry games on her own if gets fed, and can always comeback into the game once she gets 2-3 items. Good sustain, tanky, her passive and Q resets make her very fun to play as.

Akali Huge level 1 that most low elo people dont respect, has really good poke vs melee and her mobility and shroud make her very hard to gank, good learning curve.

Nidalee Off meta pick, very versatile builds means you can adjust to your teams needs, really good poke, roams really easily, most players dont know how to play against since its not very common to see, definately a good learning curve but really easy to pick up. Her heals, mobility make her pretty safe allowing you some room when you misposition.

Rengar Another off meta pick, once again most players dont know what to do versus you, you can build squishy oneshotter or tanky oneshotter whatever you prefer, very good at roaming thus you can take your lead to other lanes.

i could go on with more champions but these are my personal favorites/pocketpicks.

Mordekaiser Has decent early game, great late game, is unexpectedly versatile with his ult, is easy to pick up and very effective.

Fiora Requires a little bit of commitment to fully learn, but will always be able to reliably carry any game with her mobility and %true damage.

Teemo 45% CDR teemo with proper shroom placement around objectives is fun and effective if that's your playstyle.

Volibear Can take over early game, stat checks most champions pre 6. (Not darius) (Also hard counters Camille)

Gangplank Good blind pick ( Im a GP OTP) However playing GP is coinflip if your whole team is a scaling comp.

Nasus If you understand wave management and when you should level E/Q Nasus is a good pick but scaling can easily turn coinflip in this meta.

Chogath If you need a safe pick, I usually max E first and go tank (Maybe RoA since its a nice core item when you aren't shitting the bed)

Mordekaiser Don't build Rylai first, Rylai is a greedy item and you will most likely STARVE unless you go Zhonya or extra penetration early.

Pantheon This is a good pick if you want to take over early game

Extra tip: If you know the enemy jungler has a weak clear and youre playing someone like Pantheon , you can easily ward and take ignite for FB if they show up topside for a full clear. (Example: Evelynn, Mundo, J4, Vi, blah blah. I know those champs have nice paths, but Red/Blue is a critical moment where they are vulnerable. )

For a start, how about making a title without the .... spam?

Aatrox item 3812 can heal 10 to 100 super quick. Not sure if he needs ulti for that though but that's a start.

Sion can be fun even if you end up dying.passive and item actives will still go off when you are a zombie and is often considered a fair champ.

though you will need to consider bruiser items or slowing items(for zombie mode) likeitem 3053 item 3748 item 3143 item 3022 if you want to carry.

you may also want to consider startingitem 2033

in addition to ones that were already mentioned--

Trundle--i think this guy is crazy-good against a pretty wide variety of toplaners; he gets a ton of stat-buffs between spamming your aa+Q rotation and dropping W down, and does a brilliant job fending off incoming enemy junglers or messing with grouped enemies in teamfights with well-placed E's. his ulti also a notorious psychological-warfare tool that can completely unhinge players and send them into a fit of gamer rage

Olaf--ridiculous ranged poke, a generous chunk of true damage and steroided AA's that can all be strung-together pretty fluidly; does a lot of damage both upfront and over-time. he's also got built-in lifesteal, CC immunity & free resists @ 6......he's a pretty fucked-up champ, gotta love it

JarvanIV--a knockup-machine with a shield+slow that's pretty difficult to play around. he doesn't have the strongest harass compared to most toplaners but properly timed shields can flip trades in your favour. his kit is also invauluable for pressuring objectives & teamfighting, ofc.

Yorick,teemo,morde.

Yorick if you gonna split and just spend the time drawing all aggro.

Teemo if your sole purpose is to ruin the day of the other toplane.

Morde if you think you're skilled enough to win 1v1s against everyone else on the enemy team.

I like playing top laners that can carry games well

You may want to look at split pushers.
