Ryze is anti fun

Basically Ryze as he currently exists with his perma root is anti-fun to play against. Regardless of whether or not it is op, the fact that in lane Ryze can permanently root you if you get too close is incredibly frustrating. I just played against Ryze mid as Zed and the lane was anti-fun there is no counter play to his perma root, I had to cs from far with Q's but still doing that every five minutes he would flash on top of me while i was under tower, perma root me and kill me. This is not a fun mechanic to have for a champion, seeing as it takes no skill to execute, and there is no counter play to it. Nothing in leagues is worse than feeling like you are better than your lane opponent, but they slaughter just because they pick a certain champion. Other than that aspect of Ryze's rework I thought it was a good rework. It gives him more complexity than before, having a skill shot, and the passive stacks to manage, however if your goal was to add depth and skill to what was previously one of the most simple champions, him having a point and click perma stun is backtracking. Not hating, love riot, but I would rather see old Ryze in my game, than perma stun Ryze any day.
