Always losing and getting more deaths than kills

So I try to balance myself between bot games and normal games so I can practive using a certain champ a few times and whever I have the confidence to play decently with the selected champ (I am FULLY aware tha bot games are nothing like pvp games). I've always noticed something. Even if I win a game, I always end up with more deaths than kills, and that frustrates me (I come from a fps background). Either that or my team always loses and I'm the person who always gets thrown around into some random lane (ex. "Darius go bot" or "Zed go top") and that hinders my ability to actually practice using a champ in a real game. How do I stop getting a losing streak or die more times than I kill? Recently I've been trying to main Zed (just today I played a game with my mentioned circumstances and started out pretty will with a 8-2, then that somehow ended up being 10-22) but before him I've played Darius (average 10 kills and 10-13 deaths)

Be less risky. Whenever you go for a kill, make sure you have the damage to get it and the health. Also be sure you know where all enemies are whenever you can with wards and such.

The better you get at last hitting minions, the more gold you'll have for items, and the stronger you'll be.

Getting kills isn't nearly as important as people make it out to be. Its actually more important to just not die.

You need to soak up exp and CS as much as you can.. True, killing people will cause them to miss CS and not get EXP for a wave... but Simply harassing them and being less risky will get you a lot further against better opponents that know how to kill you also.

Just play safer, and ward every chance you can. Instead of going in for that risky kill, wait for your jungler to come help. There's tons of tricks to not dying, but the most important one is to make sure you build resistances if you're already down a little, because every time you die to them, you're only making the gap even bigger and harder the next time you come to lane or encounter a team fight.
