I read an Ask Riot the other day and one the questions was something to do with adding in a new summoner spell.

We've all got that one friend or had that one team mate who can't farm to save his life. The other day I was playing Poppy Top, I was against an Illaoi and my farming was worst than a Irishman in 1846. So that got me thinking so if I can't kill the enemy minions WHAT IF I could kill my own minions and deny cs. You guys get where I'm heading with this.

What if we had a summoner spell (or an item with an active) that could let us kill our own minions. Do you guys think people would use it ?

I feel like csing is at a good level of complexity. by adding cs denial to the game, you're making csing all that much harder, and my gut reaction is that a summoner spell like that would probably either be strong enough to become nearly necessary (similar to flash's current status), or not have enough impact to be worthwhile.

It sounds interesting, but personally I think minion denial should be approached really REALLY carefully, and almost certainly it would be better served as a part of a specific champion's kit(maybe some sort of mage/support...?), rather than as a summoner spell that could be used by any champion, opening itself to absurd abuse cases like full-denial teemo.

EDIT: also, in bot lane there are four laners, which could mean as many as four different friendly-fire-smites in the same lane, and that problem is compounded by how much more important cs is in the bot lane.
