"encourage the climb"

I know im not the only one. But the new changes to ranked games this season regarding elo and match making and overall enjoyment, frankly take the fun out of competitive play entirely. Ive been playing this game since season 1 myself and love the game truly. I think riot as a whole is a great company with an awesome game. But the ranked play this season is slowly killing all enjoyment for me. You guys wanted to encourage the climb so you guys made everything harder. Made matchmaking even worse. And tanked everyones elo and buffed all the really bad ones to the point where if i lose 2 games in a row in silver block im getting placed with bronze 2 players who have no ranked experience or really much experience with the game in general. While i may do just fine in lane and everything else and the rest of the team doesnt due to whatever reason you can think of i get punished hard for my next match. I can win one game and gain 17 mmr but my next game if i lose i lose upwards of 30 mmr? How does that encourage the climb at all? I can never gain as much mmr or lp as i lose. So i slowly get placed with players who are below my skill level as determined by your system. Which then follows me to normal games and its to the point where i myself dont even get people who try at all. Or people who just sit there and yell racial alurs and insult everyone to no end. The new system frankly just sucks. I know i would love to continue to work for more competitive play, i know some times players just have bad games. But with this encouraged climb that was already hard enough to begin with, im losing mt interest in the game as a whole. And i know im not the only one who feels this way. can we please do something to make the game better again for those of us who want the competitive play? Change the mmr system. Do a total wipe of everyones mmr and elo. Hard reset everything with a new system. Just something Thats not what is in place already.
