Excuse me, but I think you are mistaken about how this "discussion" - thing works. Let me explain:
If you make a statement, then people on a public discussion board, are allowed to disagree with you, and to say why. The fact that you wrote this thread doesn't give you any moderating rights or control over the content...if you want that, go open your own boards/forum.
