Here's what happen i was at 15 points. I played a match but I lost so I went to 0 points, so I decide to take a 2 day break from playing. After those 2 days of not playing I decide to play again but sadly i didn't win, I got demote right after that game. Why? I mean doesn't usually take like 3 to 5 games to get demote from 0 points? Why did I got demote after playing 1 game in 0 points?
It depends entirely on your MMR, you won't be demoted until you lose a game at 0 LP, with your MMR below the average for your ranking.
Basically: Your MMR was just low enough to demote you the moment you lost, sometimes your MMR can still be average or higher than average, so it would take multiple losses to decrease it enough to actually demote you.
Edit: Also loss prevention only exists for a few games IIRC.
The loss prevention from being at 0LP is only for when you had just gotten to a new rank. If you gain LP in that rank, ie the game where you went to 15 LP, you no longer have protection and will demote after losing at 0LP.
the best part is that they throw u at 75 lp like oh g thanks now i have to win 4 games ina row to get back to my elo while it only takes 1 loss to demote makes perfect sense
i need a new game to play cuz this game is fucking trash now
