Devourer Rek'Sai

I have one question why does Rek's Q is not aplied with the Devourer in two autos like Xin's does? it works champions abilites/passives ( )and items, but it doesn't seem to work on Her, You just get a buggy shadow, if You apply your Q on the auto with the Stated Efect
