I don't really think so. Mages are more in line for what they should be (Minus freakin Malzahar) I think. More mid game. Lots of mages were screwed in the MYMU (Swain, Cassiopeia, Vladmir)

the is a few out liers but no tanks are still the most dominant and due to how league has evoled its pretty certain to say its gonne stay a tank meta now, forever unless they deliberately over nerf tanks or over buff everything.

That totally depends on the team, Of course beating a tanky team without DPS would be hard, But i would see a mage oriented team is the hardest team to beat right now.

while some mages are strong they generally have chariterists of some tanks like fiddle being simlar to an amumu. or malzahar having the lockdown simlar to list loads of tanks here your not really seeing mages like cass ziggs or xerath. even anti tanks mages like swain and kayle arnt seeing much play in themselves
