Got a Chroma from the event which I paid Riot for (Allah forgive me). I go to try it in-game and its not selectable. Whats the deal? I could've used those 300 point towards champion shards or blue essence. Now I just feel cheated out of my hard work.
You bought a CHROMA Not a SKIN And you need the SKIN to be able to use the CHROMA

If they gave you the skin with the chroma, it would/should cost 2000+ tokens
It's not selectable because you have to own the skin to use the chroma. It has always been like this. They allow people to unlock the chromas during events because they are often limited or do not return for a few years. It's different from Chromas in the store, where you need to have the skin first before it allows you to pick up the chroma. So you can pick them up now and then buy the skin at a later point in order to use the chroma.
You bougt the paint job for a car. You still need to buy the car.
I only paid the 10 bucks or so for the dawn/night event pass. i used the orbs to get the chroma. pls dont be confused i just dont wanna give riot money like that. also wanted know know others opinions.
