Cant really connect

So League of Legends has some server issues going on right now, which is why they stopped ranked temporarily, but the server issue is also in normal's, I tried to play a game with some friends of mine but League wouldn't even let me connect to the game, I tried to restart League itself multiple times and i even restarted my computer, so tell me Riot am i gonna get a temporary ban or a Low priority because of your server issues?
