Should another ap item be added?

Well considering how i'm forced to buy morellonomicon and boots of Lucidity and 10-20% cdr runes to achieve my 40-45% cdr as a mage, yeah, we need another ap item.

Another beneficial AP/CDR item would do wonders.

League needs like twice as many AP items, for that matter.

ADs have so many items that if you wanted, you could make a full AD 5-man team with every one of them having to buy different AD items and not only there'd still be AD items left, but every champion would have a rather viable build.

Meanwhile, you'd run out of AP items after the second dude.
