Maybe Jhin isn't broken?
Maybe this meta just only allows for a couple of ADC's to be consistently viable in games. ADC's die so quickly and the only one's that are able to do well are the ones that are able to stay a screen away to do damage. If you don't play Varus, MF, or Jhin and you play any other ADC that can't get off reliable damage while being out of range then you're bound to die a lot. I love how people think nerfing Jhin is somehow going to solve the problem when he's not broken. This meta does not favor AA based ADC's because they can't live long enough. We're in an age of assassins 100-0'ing ADC's, oops sorry TANKS 100-0'ing ADC's WAY too easily while being able to keep them locked down.
I've mained malphite for years and just started picking up Mao and it's ridiculous how much we, as tanks, are able to lock down an ADC, take no damage and out burst them. It's no wonder people are literally only playing like 3 ADC's. Every other ADC is so damn hard to be useful in team fights.
tl;dr: Jhin not the problem. ADC's are being forced away from team fights because every1 else wrecks them.
