[Suggestion] Replacement for Warmogs on ARAM

Hi,

I was thinking of a way to replace Warmogs on ARAM so it isn't as oppressive on tanks (or even bruisers). Warmog's armor becomes oppressive since attempting to kill a tank is an "all or nothing" investment in resources (ever see a Cho'gath walk away with 500 hp?).

Obviously, the tanks still want to be able to spend their gold at some point. However, avoiding death for prolonged periods of time on a tank isn't as detrimental as a carry on the team doing the same thing.

My idea for a healthier item for ARAM would essentially convert a significant portion of your bonus health to health regen.

My inspiration for an item like this was playing Pyke. He is rewarded if he can get in, work some black magic, and get out because of his grey health.

This item would grant tanks the ability to stay alive in the aftermath of a fight if they want at the price of risking death during the fight itself because their health pool would be diminished.

Perhaps the item could have some bonus HP -> regen conversion which is dramatically increased out of combat.

TLDR: An item which has a passive that will sacrifice bonus health in exchange for health regen. The health regen conversion is significantly higher when out of combat.

The odds are probably slim that this actually becomes a thing but maybe it'll give Riot some potential ideas. And if you like the sound of the idea, maybe push the envelope and make the item (i.e. price, stats, tooltip, etc.). I don't necessarily think that the example I show below is the final form; it can certainly evolve. The idea is very young so perhaps my item is busted or too weak to be considered a real choice as an item.

If this thread gets enough attention I might possibly update the OP with the more popular/feasible candidates from the discussion.

Example:

Warmog's Blood Pact +800 Health UNIQUE: 10% CDR UNIQUE Passive: Converts 80% of your bonus health into health regen (1.5% bonus health converted into health per second). The health regen is three times more effective out of combat. Build Path: item 1011 item 1028 item 3067 + 600G (Total cost: 2800g)

You are like saying.... 'Let's paint the sky blue. When it's already blue. '

Really all warmogs is... is bonus health regeneration. To replace it with bonus health regeneration isn't really fixing what they are seeing as a problem.

Make it melee only, that's all. The only true abuser of this item is Soraka, she doesn't interact with enemies and the only counterpart of her W is is costing health.

You get item 3027 item 3107 item 3083 and you have enough health and mana to get the passive to work, and THIS is retarded. But heck, it will take Rito years to understand this

It would also be more fair if you needed to stay in ange of the enemies to heal, similar to lifesteal. You could collect drops from minions that heal you. I think this tradeoff with having to choose between health and health regen could be a good idea.
