Man do I hate this mentality. I queue Top/Mid and get Top most of the time, mid less, and anything else very, very rarely.
Don't get me wrong, playing support every game makes me wanna die, but I enjoy the role enough to play it occasionally when I have to. Its like jury duty, it sucks, but we gotta do it. Why is it that most of my games my support says "gg lol rito" -.-
Because when I get autofilled top and have to play vs a master/challenger Darius main, Im gonna blame autofill lol
yeah like autofill doesn't decide games. I love it when I have to support a one trick shaco jungle that gets autofilled adc vs. a d1 one trick draven. tell me who's gonna win ?
Playing support itself isn't what sucks, it's that you will most likely be playing one of your weakest roles against a support main who gets their role every single game and inevitably you will get fucked in lane. If each team had an autofilled player (preferably in the same role) it wouldn't be nearly as bad.
If u get autofilled support, you essentially give up any chance of you carrying the game, and increase the chance of you doing poorly (because it's a more unfamiliar role than whichever 2 you queued up for).
Sure, you can "play" support, but you won't be as good at it as you are at top/mid, so you automatically decrease the chance of the team winning(by being more of a hindrance than a support main).
A lot of people just plain flat out suck as people. They bitch up a storm when auto filled but can't play their main role either after you switch with them.
That's just people for you.
Even better is when you agree to swap with them, so they get autofill protected next game but you don't.
And then they feed their lane and flame the jungler. Oh no wait that's just bronze nvm

Auto fill almost always determines the game. Imagine facing a support main in top lane against a top main. The support main is gonna destroyed.
Now imagine the same scenario, the top laner main is now autofilled support and has to face the support main. Who is gonna win?
everyone hates supp and they all state i just played supp yah liek 20 games ago so dont give me that crap or the other great excuse i dont know hwo to play supp....supp is the most braindead role in the game. You dont cs and all u do is ward and thats pretty much it. But peopel will state that i dotn min dplaying supp occasionally or last but not least is the classsic i dont play supp im smurfing .......
but at that why play a role that gets all the rage at for the loss always....supp is number 1 followed by the jungler. I play j4 supp its fun i can go 0 3 and 20 and if we lose they will be like if only we had a real supp.......
Well when 1 or 2 people get autofilled you aren't going to have a fun time. I'll say it once again I would much rather prefer an extra minute or 2 on queue times compared to waiting 10-15 minutes for people to stop dodging because of it. One of the most toxic systems I've seen.
Okay, but what's the point of being able to choose your roles with the chance you're going to be autofilled anyway. Last night, I was autofilled jungle. I can play any role fine (not good at them, but have ok knowledge) but not jungle. And then asked if I could swap with someone, even support, and they all said "just don't feed". That would be great if I knew how to jungle at all, or played jungle champs. Or owned more than Nunu/Warwick on the account I was on.
I just choose to look at it from the "its my turn to do it" perspective.
If I get autofilled into say support, I'll typically just go "Oh, I got support duty" and then then tackle the role like I would any other role, as in like I'm doing my part and I'm doing what I should do.
Granted, I'll still occupationally ask if the lane I wanted if they want to swap if I really wanted the role, but if not, I just start asking what kind of champ do they all want me to play in my role.
I don't mind supporting, but when i do get autofilled what tends to happen is my solo laners shitting the bed so hard for some damn reason every single time.
Unless you can get your adc fed to the point it doesn't matter how trash your solo laners are it's not going to be an enjoyable game for you.
that's because not everyone has more than 2 to 4 rune pages and are not ready for a role, I have had a soraka sup that was autofilled with all ad runes
