How is it that these supports are not considered OP? Is it not a clue that they are played in a third of all games? Do people not notice they do more damage then any other champ for the first ten levels, and they are tanky as hell, and they have ridiculous crowd control that is easy to land when ever they want? What more evidence do you need?
Every intelligent player knows Thresh is OP. Not sure where you got the idea that anyone thinks otherwise.

They have some serious downsides, and no, their skillshots are not as easy to land as you are saying - namely, they are actually rather easy to dodge, because they're telegraphed and relatively slow.
Pick any combo of these marksmen and supports, then reap the souls of both Leona and Thresh with your awesome poke.
