I recently played a ranked game against a first time reworked Akali, we banned her Yasuo so she decided to play Akali bc "I'm edgy".

I got first blood, killed her again, and then Rengar came and got another kill on her. By this time she was 0/3 lvl 9, I was 2/0/1 and lvl 11. she comes as an assassin who is severely behind, she doesn't even have Gunblade yet, and one shots me... I was shocked. Point blank came to lane, and one shots me. And for the record, I did land my q r w combo, and she was low, I had no chance to ignite because she stunned me and as I have already said, one shot me. She made horrible mistakes. Like going to dash on me when I w r into my turret to get a kill, my team uses all of their cc, and she just presses one button to escape. I felt violated (probably because I was tilted). In the end I lost a ranked game to a first time Akali.

This had me thinking about the meta. Riot has said that they don't make changes to balance the game, they make changes to freshen up the game. When was the last time adcs were considered good? "adc in 2k17 lul" its almost 2019 and still, they are pretty much meant to assist the enemy team. When was the last time Yasuo was considered bad, yeah he takes some skill but that doesn't mean he has to be meta every, single, game. Even so part of his skill is landing your Q's to ult and get armour penetration, if he gets armor penetration that easily, why make it so that he can Q E which is pretty much a point and click unless you have flash. Viktor takes skill but hes considered a bad pick. Vayne takes skill but she is still in a bad spot. You get the point. if you want to freshen up the game, make it so that if a vel'koz sees a yasuo he doesn't instantly give up. Buff ap ezreal, that will give the game a good change. Make every assassin horrible. buff the ad/ap scaling on some tanks bringing them mid. make amumu one of the best jglers, maybe even make him a burst jgler, That'd be a nice change. Bring fiddle back into the jgl as well. make dps much better than burst. Your game will feel fresh then. Atleast in my opinion.

By the way I am only silver, so my thoughts may be completely wrong. But do you think its fair, that a yas can get 2 items and have instant 100% crit, when adc's who need it much more, need to wait 30 mins. And my that time the game will probably be over. I am not an adc player by any means. I am a support/mid player. Assassins aren't really my thing except for lb but shes kinda like a mage imo. The meta right now is horrible. if you don't have burst, hard cc, you're a goner in today's meta. I would like to understand if you agree with me, or if you think I'm wrong. Change my mind. And what about Brand, they champ who is extremely boring, able to 1v5, might as well be 1v2 in the botlane, and no matter how many levels he is behind, he can 1v1 the midlaner, and atleast the jgler along with both adc and support. I've been waiting for the nerfs for so goddamn long man. That much power is too much. It would be lovely if you would bring back the supports.

TLDR: meta sucks fix it riot, nerf yas buff adc, nerf brand, buff supports.

The meta is a love it or hate it meta. Yasuo isnt that good. Marksmens are in an ok spot with this patches item changes prob enough to kick out almost every mage other than heimer and situationally vlad. Brand def needs a nerf. Supports have been too strong for too long, the soft need may have not been enough but they have to be strong enough that people wanna play them.

I don't believe this one, but I will check the replay.

This game isn't balancable, there will never be a state where every side of every elo is happy.

When was the last time adcs were considered good? "adc in 2k17 lul" its almost 2019 and still, they are pretty much meant to assist the enemy team.

From Season 1 to 6, where people hated how the power fluctuated around them and bot lane in general and how the best strat was just to snowball them.

Depends on the elo, higher elo players say he sucks.

Yasou counters skillshot based squishy mages, kind of what he does.

I'm not saying the meta is good or bad, but what you are asking for...kind of doesn't make sense and seems REALLY bias.

This...isn't at all what happened. She at no time one shot you, and she wasn't two levels down, and she wasn't low. When she killed you, it was after extended time in lane, after you took a lot of free harass from the minions and a few turret shot or two, she also had gotten a kill prior from Rengar dying in the jungle and killing him as he tried to retreat. THEN in lane after you made a good play to attempt to escape, instead of retreating to tower to recall, you recalled in the middle of the lane and she killed you...after you made a bad trade while already low, in what world did your scenario happen?
