This game went to complete bullshit iv been playing this game since beta and quit for about 1 year then come back and literally the game is full of dumb players that don't even know how to play the game cause they are most likely 12 and literally carry every game but lose in the end cause my teammates just cant play it gets frustrating when im playing in silver when i know i should be ATLEAST gold yet i cant get out cause my teammates just lose it. Also iv been playing with my duo that can actually play and we go bot literally every game is me with 20+ assist and him 15+ kills yet we still lose cause of the dumb ass players we have on our team. This is literally the best moba out but it sucks cause of the dumb player base.

You're definitely not reading them so pls STFU and go away.

No one said anything about anything being rigged.

Duo queue.

Duo queue.

Highly ironic how I went through 2 demotions (1 being to Bronze 1) with a duo queue, and now here I am in silver 2 with a solid 80% win rate in my last 25ish games playing solo queue, simply carrying my teammates in the span of a week and a half. Almost in silver 1 promos by the way.

There are exceptions to everything of course but there is also luck, like having a good run in poker. These swings can last for a long long time.

The worst part is that you can in theory be held back forever by bad teams, just like you can in theory have a year long downswing in poker.

At the very least to go from unranked to something like plat, you WILL have to fight many many one sided "lost cause" matches. I for one don't have the patience for that. They only reason I'd want to rank higher in the first place was to play with and against players who were good. You're telling me I have to play 100s of games with and against bad players to do that? lmao, no thanks.

Definitely agree, right after I came out of playing duo I also went into a 6 game loss streak which was honestly extremely frustrating.

Lost cause matches are definitely a thing too, but you have to realize that most matches like those have at least one point where the enemy team will throw. Even in ELOs like Plat and Diamond it happens, heck it even happens in pro scene, and a game in MSI I believe, SKT came back through a throw.

But yeah, sometimes you just have to accept a loss. Once you can do that, and accept the fact that your teams will never be perfect, you can climb. Trust me. If you really do have the ability to carry you will stomp opponents every game.

A while back, for example, Riot had a test involving pro players climbing from bronze 5 to diamond because players were complaining that ELO hell was impossible to climb out of IIRC.

C9 Hai took part in this event. I remember watching his stream during his climb, and he didn't die in any game until he reached platinum 3 I think? And he lost his first game at Diamond 3 or 4, I don't remember the full details.

But there were even plats taking part in this event as a self challenge and certainly didn't do as well but got back up with relative ease.

So, in reality, you can carry these games. A game isn't lost until you surrender or your nexus explodes.

I mean; if you've been playing since beta and you're still Silver, idk what to say. Sure there are unlucky games where you get matched with people that don't take the time to learn the game, I've encountered that dozens of times, but you always need to be focusing on what you can do to help your team win.

I've only been playing for a little over a year and am almost Plat; no duo queue.
