Idea to STOP the Dreaded Duo, Trio, or Quadra Queue Abuse in Champ Select (CHECK THIS OUT)

Every League player knows what a frantic battle it is to call a lane in normals. As soon as champ select loads, people spam their lanes...TOP TOP ADC mid mid MID OR FEED jg JG. And most of the time their is a conflict over who called the lane first. Both players see that they called the lane first, but neither agree to go to a different lane. The only option these to players have is to ask other members of the lobby to decide who won the call. However, many times there are Duo Queues, Trios, or even Quadra queues who will abuse their "togetherness" and fight for their friends side, no matter who won the call.

My solution to this issue will obviously not fix all the issues in champ select, but I think it will give players extra information that may help them make a better judgement call. The solution to this probably is:** Let players know who are queued together.** Maybe a symbol next to their names that have the same color or some other indicator. This way, if two players call top lane for example, and they both believe they one the call, when they ask other members of the lobby to make a final decision, they will be able to tell if they are being truthful or not. If nobody in the lobby is queued (and each player would know this by the lack of "queue" symbols), then players will be able to trust what other members say (because there would be no incentive for the un-queued players to lie).

If you don't catch my drift let me explain it on more detail:

Situation 1: Champion select loads, Player 1 and Player 2 both call top lane. Player 1 and 2 are arguing over whoever called top lane first. Player 1 and 2 demand that Players 3, 4, and 5 make a final verdict. All 3 players claim that Player 1 won the top lane call. Player 2, who has an 8,000 dollar computer, is suspicious of the final verdict. However, he realizes that neither Player 1, 3, 4, or 5 are queued together, and therefore, he knows they would not lie about the call. He decides not to auto lock to avoid being 9x reported, picks Leona, and locks in support. Leona summoner 3

Situation 2: Champion select loads, Player 1 and Player 2 both call top lane. Player 1 and 2 are arguing over whoever called top lane first. Player 1 and 2 demand that Players 3, 4, and 5 make a final verdict. Players 3 and 4 claim that Player 1 won the call, whereas only player 5 claims that player 2 won the call. "Majority rules! I am going top!" - Player 1. Player 2, who has an 8,000 dollar computer, is suspicious of the call. He notices that there is a bright red symbol next to Player 1, 3, and 4, indicating that they are queued together. And since player 5 is not queued with anyone, he can justify that he truly wont the call. No matter if Player 1 backs down or not, there will be a section in the report menu called, "Multiple Queue Member Abuse", where Player 1 (and possibly Player 5) can explain their story with evidence. Players 1, 3, and 4 are then chat banned, 20 min queued, or banned (whatever, hopefully you see where I'm going with this)

This happens to me all the time, and I can never trust what other people say. If this system were implemented then I, being a nice guy, would suck it up and play support if I had too (which would mean full ap Lux, Nidalee, Annie, or Brand.... lol its normals), and I'm sure there are other people out there like me. Of course there will always be auto lockers, feeders, and trolls, but I do believe this system will help quite a lot. I think this will lower the toxicity of champion select and overall make the rest of the game more friendly and fun. What do you think? Let me know!

I play teambuilder exclusively for normals. I don't care if I have to queue 15 minutes, I don't want to play with mid mid mid mid mid only or feed 12 year olds.

I don't see it actually changing anything. Anyone who was going to lie for a friend before is still going to say the same thing.

Just add a role selection system already, already hit 67 Chat Restrictions, and 35 Game restrictions because of toxicity mainly related to champion select issues, non communication, and players who can't agree to disagree with specific champions being played at (X) location so Spam Reported a lot after forced roles and playing badly.

Basically how it works, is all players select roles they are willing to fill they select a list of roles they want to play in a drop down menu and queue up, and basically they are matched with other players willing to fill other roles they are not wanting to fill, or be able to select a Fill role basically being able to fill any role for those who don't care what they play.

**This removes champion select toxicity. **

Okay, I think you might have poor idea how "role calling" works. First of all - it's not enforced by any rules, meaning that it holds no value whatsoever. The only reason why it might have any weight is because of other players decency - and having off-meta picks (like the ever popular double mid) is not a punishable offense anyway.

However, I do see a point for the "Multiple Queue Member Abuse" - in case other players troll or flame you during game (or even champion select/post-game lobby). However, I don't think that saying "Summoner 1 called top first" is punishable (even if it's false).

If you don't like the fact that role calling is by no mean a rule (as I said before, it's only valid if other players agree), then you should try the other normal mode, that is made precisely for selecting the role you want to play (Teambuilder).
