Tank meta needs to stop

This is mostly about the rune conqueror if riot would have never added that rune the tank meta would die really quickly. The only reason there even is a tank meta is because that rune does 20% true damage for melee champions. Some top laners and mid laners are completely stuffed out of the meta just because of conqueror. It is a bs rune that isn't meant for tanks but what it does is it turns tanks into bruisers. In my opinion it shouldn't be removed it should just be nerfed so tanks can't use it kind of like how ezrael can't use klepto anymore.

What? Conqueror is a tank busting rune, it doesn't help tanks at all. Are you claiming tanks are tanking conqueror or something? I don't understand what you're claiming here.

Tanks are weaker because of conqueror, so complaining about conqueror while also complaining about a so called "tank meta" doesn't make sense.

Have you ever seen a tank with conqueror though. It might be for stopping tanks but If a tank has it, you just can't win. Not only are tanks not taking damage they are doing damage as well.

No, I've never seen a tank stupid enough to take it. Why would they, when they can take Aftershock which actually will scale for them past the early game.

Conqueror scales with bonus attack damage, which no tank in their right mind would ever build, so it's absolutely useless to them. Plus the majority of tanks deal magic damage, so it's even more useless on them. The only tank that comes to mind right away that might be able to use this is Sion, and that's because he has some decent bruiser builds.

Are you sure you're not mistaking some of the higher defense fighters as tanks? A lot of people do this, and it's a problem when they end up trying to talk about game balance.

excpet kled isnt a tank? hes a bruiser, the class the rune is made for. what tank takes conq lul

While I agree with the fact about a Tank Meta being on the rise (I've been through this five times now), I do have to say conqueror is not at fault here.
