The Tribunal

I feel like the Tribunal in League is the equivalent to that of a public court.

Honestly most days I wouldn't be surprised if after a game people simply reported a player, chose the category that best suited it and simply hit send report.

What does that accomplish?

Nothing really.

If people don't spend the time to actually write out what they felt was worth reporting someone for, then how are we supposed to take a look at these cases and pass a fair judgement? IMO I can't see us really doing that unless we were in the game personally and saw what happened to deem a report being sent in the first place. With that in mind I had an idea for how to change the Tribunal and hopefully make it better.

It's simple. Rather then having all these categories for someone to pick through and simply hit send report, they should implement a point system. Basically have it be a simply 5 point system for both teammates and opponents. The points would be +1 +3 +5 or -1 -3 -5 depending on how the game went. If you played with someone who either raged, afked or was simply bragging and being a dick the entire game you could give a score of -5 to them. Same goes for the other team.

I feel that is they were to implement this point system over the old report system, it would make it easier to simply check the point list and see players who have been given a mass amount of negative points. They'd have to come up with a tier list to decide whether a person gets a warning, a temp ban or a permanent ban. In all honesty I think this would make a better way to deal with toxic players then what we have already, and it would help to improve overall enjoyment of the game and help to show new people that this is a fun and easy game that doesn't have the toxic representation that people may have come to think when hearing about the game.
