ranked queues

is there something wrong with matchmaking? up until this week i was 34-14 i think, even my losses were decent games for the most part. then i start playing this week and every single game is a complete shit show. the skill disparity is ridiculous. i gain about 25-27 lp for a win and lose 14 for a loss so i dont believe that im just placing blame, but i have lost 14 out of my last 20 games. the players that im getting really dont seem to belong in gold and every game is an utter curbstomp. i know gold isnt super impressive, but in lane it goes one of two ways. either i crush and get a huge lead, only to have the enemy four man my lane for the next 10 minutes and my team not punish them at all, still losing their lanes despite being left by themselves and not following or pressuring turrets. if i lose lane its either because im tilted as hell by the games ive already played or my support is a potato. i had a janna today that didnt know you could press q to send the tornado early. hail mary tornados all lane, which do nothing but mess up cs and remove our disengage. mostly just venting but i want to put my fist through my monitor.

tl:dr i went from about a 65% winrate up until this week to a 25-30% this week. skill difference between teams is absurd

the normal games that i play when i dont feel like tanking my mmr too hard go the same way
