Riot please, for the love of God, fix your matchmaking

I am an EUNE player, I enjoy the gameplay, I enjoy everything, but matchmaking, Riot, seriously? What's this supposed to mean?
I am getting unrankeds that started in season 7 / 8 and haven't done ranked at all in both seasons while my enemies are Diamond and Plat? This happens all the time, like, please? Literally unfair. 90% of the people that I know in real life that used to play League quit the game cause of the matchmaking, but here I am, still giving League a chance. Or if it's not matchmaking's fault that we're getting high tier players, maybe I just suck too much at the game? No, I am opposing plats and diamonds no matter what lane I go to. Just, can I just get an answer, why am I going versus high tier players while my team doesn't go above silver 2 on average? I don't do ranked games at all, so I don't see the purpouse why is this happening, I have only done my placements and maybe 3-4 games after them to see can I get anywhere, but after that not a single one.
