Bias is bias enough to seem very bias.
Anyways, Akali throws something and used AOE spin to hit it for extra damage.
Anyways, Katarina throws something and used AOE spin to hit it for extra damage.
The difference is the majority of Akalis damage comes from proccing that something. The extra damage Kat gets from proccing bouncing blades is pretty low.
@OP
Kat has a 48% winrate that is trending downwards, 84 champions in this game have higher winrates than her. Kat has a 4% pickrate (71 champs are played more regularly) and a 2% banrate (23 champs are banned more than her).
Katarina has been nerfed very hard in season 5, she has received nerfs to her :
Ultimate = Base Damage lowered
Ultimate = Cooldown Increased a Metric fck ton
Passive = Drastically reduced the window for resets
E = Ap ratio reduced
Health = Health reduced by 50
Health Regen = Lowered massively
Base splash = Gutted, for the crap we have now.
Op before Katarinas last rework she was considered a very hard champion to play. Numbers backed this up, with her winrate being pretty high with skilled Kat mains and horribly low with people who did not play her often and average to bad players. Riot wanted to rework her to make her playable by the masses and they accomplished the goal they set out to accomplish. Except for the fact that now the very people who could not play her before can not seem to stop her now. So she has been nerfed over and over and over again, despite never having been relevant in pro play and most of the time not being that good in the higher elos of solo que.
Op you should buy and begin playing Kat, spam her in normals and solo que. What you will find is a champion that is very fun to play and MUCH weaker than she is perceived to be. Playing her a good bit will also make it easier for you to understand how to stop her and prevent you from making silly threads like this one in the future.
