Nothing. They changed him just for the sake of changing him. Its something Riot has a bad habbit of doing

Riot continues the trend of making good supports more frustrating to play. Any reliable support gets nerfed its a law of LoL.

In no way is the new ali bad now really. He just isn't as reliable as he was is all.

It was more of a quality of life change IMO than a full rework, they shifted his heal to his passive which means it won't drain his mana, 0.5 seconds of the stun from his knock up was moved to his E passive. This didn't really weaken alistar per se, but it gave you more options on how to distribute your CC while offering more sustain mana wise. They also removed the bonus AD from his ult because it was just out of place, he has no Ad scalings to begin with.

Before Alistar only choice in a fight other than pop ulti to tank more damage was to decide what order you would your Q and W in, and after that you're stuck auto attacking awkwardly doing little to nothing.

Apparently not, and had enough wrong with him that Riot changed his entire gameplay.

I like the new Alistar imo

The problem with him before was that they made his W Q combo easier to land and took the skill requirement out of the equation. I guess riot felt that they wanted to add more skill requirement to his kit and more oomph since the nerfs sort of blanded him out. That's just my thought cents in the situation.

I have no idea? I keep seeing this chain thing on him and no idea what it does.
