Veigar is the worst midlaner of this game

The thing is : Veigar was not even good with the not-so-insta-but-still-way-too-insta-stun and the DFG.

With 1200 Veigar AP was still kind of useless cause he had nothing but a press R if a carry want to get in the range. It's called Banshee, QSS, mercs or cleanse. it can be used for the trap but also the Q or the W. It can even preventing you from taking an ultimate.

Let's talk about the so called stun... It's NOT a stun. Really you should read patchnote. It's a trap, a zoning tool. The stun is the way to provide a trap. If you stun with it, your enemy is stupid or already stunned. And that's probably a good idea if the trap have an interaction. Which is not the case sadly...

The only strength of Veigar is the "infinite" ap scaling. And this mean if the enemy afk and let farm for 20 minutes, you will get more AP. Getting maybe the +200 ap. But the champion is nullified at 35 minutes (list of item : line 2). I hope you can win in 15 minutes after letting your team in a 4v5 for 20.

time. She is Veigar with 3 * his power and utility in every situation in this game. And Annie is not even a top pick. Annie is just a good pick with clear strength and weakness. You could argue she is toxic cause she can instastun people in her range and this is so unfair. But she is still not considered OP by most player. She kind of never was.

time . She was the only champion that was better than Veigar in bursting (sometime ago). She is still as good as him in nuking.

With the Q change you could also argue that he can now poke. We can compare to (the guy with the Veigar Cage PLUS two effects) (not talking about the rey st kit and easy "skillshot"). We can compare to . The girl the a Veigar R /1.5 but AOE PLUS the range.

Veigar is a poke mage that don't poke but punish you if you stand in front of him without a Banshee. If not he could try to use his magic cage in team fight. Not helping him but helping his mate as long as there is a carry in the cage. If not he can press "/d" waiting the cooldown and enjoying his infinite scaling.

I am pretty sur the only reason people say he is just tier 3 and it's not so bad is the infinite scaling. Because it seems OP, it feels OP. But when you look closer farming is the worst tactics of the game.

Even Nasus is rarely seen (if never) at high elo. And his kit has a sense. He allows him to stay in teamfight or splitpush.

TLDR : Stop saying he is not so bad cause you reach 1500 AP and you felt like the king of the world. He is the worst midlaner of this game.

Funfact : Riot fixed the Veigar support BS in Korea by pulling a rework that was not ready. They just had some years you know.
