Ways to Improve Leavebuster (Making it more justifiable/reasonable)

**(Warning:**What I wrote is my own opinion) I don't expect everyone to agree but I would like everyone's opinion. Even if you don't agree perhaps you could tell me what ideas you have that could improve Leavebuster.

Yes I am a flawed player who has been marked leaver on several games, 3 due to computer crashes (note 2 of those 3 times was to low battery and the other I dropped my computer making the battery pop out: I'm just that amazing), 1 due to computer update (which completely froze my computer and made it restart 3 times) 2 due to the fact I have a personal life with family and meal time is important for survival, and 1 time due to wi-fi crash (in this case I had to restart the router twice before it came back on) I personally don't intentionally leave games, as I myself find it annoying to deal with players who leave games. And you may not believe that I truly didn't mean to leave those games, but I won't stop you from believing whatever you want.

I understand why League of Legends wants to punish players who leave their teammates to fight without their help, but I don't understand why there needs to be a program that does the punishing. Actually matches themselves become unappealing to play when I have to fear being unable to complete the match if my internet drops or computer crashes. I have noticed that people who rage quit don't actually quit playing they just make their entire team annoyed by messaging them to vote yes on surrender or bully them when they die.

I recommend letting players decide when their teammates should be punished for leaving them, and that doesn't mean giving players full range over banning other players, but perhaps the ability to report players to administrators or monitors so they, can not only decide if the player reported did truly leave the game or stopped helping, but also give a reasonable punishment for abandoning the match to the players who purposefully left. (Not that figuring out if a player purposefully left or not but if someone monitored them or the game monitored them and recorded if they left multiple matches in a row or continuously left matches when their team resulted in a lose the basic assumption could be that the player purposefully left their teammates) People may argue that this may be unfair because someone might just not like another player or some player is just being a troll and reporting other players, but isn't that what Leavebuster is? A program that assumes you purposefully left your teammates and therefore punishes you? If that's not what Leavebuster is than perhaps its a program created to discourage people from leaving matches, but that doesn't stop a computer crash or a drop in internet connection from happening.

If the real concern is the unfairness of the match when a player leaves can't the problem simply be fix by making the absent player into a bot and just booting the real player from the match entirely? If that seems unfair maybe consider how unfair it is to the inconvenient players who have to sit thought waiting in low priority queue just because something unfortunate happened. Its like the same thing if a player leaves a match they shouldn't be allowed to finish it and therefore have to find another one. I suppose that could be a solution for Computer versus Players matches.

For the PvP matches keep the Leavebuster but don't apply the Leavebusters affects to Computer Vs Player games it just seems so unreasonable to punish the games that players are versing bots, even if it is unfair to the players teammates, you can easily just not reward players who left anything and replace them with bots. Besides there's always going to be a sour lemon in a bunch of limes, it will always happen but can't there be compromises for everyone?

After reading what I have wrote I don't mean to offend anyone by what I wrote above, its just my opinion and I would appreciate if you respected my opinion for what it is. (That does not mean you have to agree with me) I would like for you to share you opinion on ways to improve Leavebuster or if you find flaws in my suggestion leave a comment quoting the section and flaw.

Thanks ~ The Dango King
