He is pretty fun. From his personality to his ult. My only real complaint is that he doesn’t feel durable until level 13, with no way to personally increase his durability (like a shield or DR) in fights.

its a really weird thing that they keep doing to tanks, multiple champions like Galio, Sejuani and Ornn they just double down on giving them % hp damage and not really giving their kit anything that implies tankiness at all, they're just bruisers with crap build paths.

The % HP damage is to help them trade and is reduced easily by buying resistances. If fighters were actually building resistances like they should (but the meta makes it ok for them not to) then they'd be reduced.

Ornn and Sejuani are pretty much the only tanks who have only passive ways to increase their durability (both in their passives oddly enough). Every other tank has some sort of heal, shield, or active resistance boost.

He is a tank, he does not need damage, riot does not know their own game, ornn himself has good damage and a decent burst.

No one on the boards was asking for a removal of defense to buff his damage. At the very least, there’s no way a large portion of the boards yelled for this.

Ya, wish he was still more tanky , he didn't need the damage buff unless his team was crap in which case he cant solo carry regardless.

He needs an ohmwrecker upgrade. +300 hp +50 armor. Should fix his early game up by allowing him easy access to that health Regen. He loves all the ohmwrecker stats, just needs an excuse to build it.

This would be a bit better than the Sunfire cape upgrade stats. +10 armor -25 life. It'd also give ohm a place in the game again. Right now it's the least built item and left there because it was added as part of a competition someone won. It should be fixed.

He's probably the only champion it's really good on but he can't even buy it because it won't work with his passive. He's one of those almost there but not quite champions, and I feel like something this small would help him in just the right way. That and maybe jg item upgrade.

people will laugh, but honestly, I'm AMAZED we haven't seen Ohmwrecker built by the likes of G2, its actually an insanely poweful item between stats being good, raptor cloak passive is awesome, and one of the best actives for closing out games.

It's been used here and there in pro play, tough to pull off in pub matches, but an Ornn upgrade would really put him in the spotlight without overloading him IMO, and as a result, add another tank to the meta.

I just wish all his abilities didn’t scale different Q ad W level damage E damage based off of armor and mr R magic dog

I wish all his abilities scaled with one thing so I could go tanky full so or tanky full ad and be able to get max potential out of all his abilities

I think he's a champ with so much utility that they had to do that to tune his stats without putting them super low, anything too far in one direction and he'd be a massive bully. He could use a bit of love but it has to be very small and well thought out (like the one I put above)

but i hear bot lane has become an option for garen recently too.

Ornn is more lvl dependant than ADCs so can only be top. (Or mid I guess)
