Supports and mages?

Just wondering, would it not make more since to let the mage and support go into the mid lane so the support can ward the buffs and with adcs being over powered now. with the mages being underpowered and item based champs they would need to be babysitted more than a adc.

the pros of the support being in the mid lane: harder to gank the in mobile mages. the support can get to all lanes faster. wards will be even between top and bot lanes can ward their jungle better and not just one buff most mages have cc of some sort and can be chained with the supports cc to make a fun lane. 9/10 bot lane tower is first to fall because of the 2 player lane, with the support in mid will make a shorter path to the nexus. the adc will be higher lvl.

the cons of the support in the mid lane: the adc will be alone and left to be ganked, but most adcs have self peel now( all have slows , have snares, and haves speed ups/jumps) Graves will still not have his cigar =d IDK I was just wondering what yall thought about it
