Zyra's plants already hinder her

I understand that Zyra can be a very difficult champ to deal with. Making her rely on hitting her abilities so that her plants that spawn attack the enemy champs makes some sense to me as Zyra main. What I don't get is how riot can nerf her and not do anything about her plants glitching the hell out, which causes them to not do anything when there is clearly something to attack in their range.

It's not fair to Zyra if her plants do nothing even for a second. I have never seen a heimer turret or a malz minion just stop and do nothing when there is something they can attack.

Zyra doesn't have a lot of ability power and her poke has been significantly reduced with the nerf. With all things considered, maybe riot should try to fix her glitch first, before they decide to nerf her one good trait. I don't be mind changing my play style with Zyra, but I want to know that the plays I make will actually be effective. If I can't poke as easily as I could, then I want riot to ensure that when I do poke, it actually works and the plants/ dragons/ undead/ fire plants do their job. The skin looks cool though, I will say that I am excited for it!!

I used to play Zyra some as well as a support main. Then a few games into the change I noticed so many of the old glitches with Plant AI returning. I'd see plants attack a champion that I hit with an ability (which they said it should), then it would switch back to minions even though I hit a champion (???) and I didn't AA anyone. Half the time they just stop attacking if a champion A) Goes out of range B) The minions move C) I sneeze in real life D) Someone types a command into game (joking of cours eon a lot of these, but the plants do stop attacking a lot randomly)

It makes it really hard to master Zyra's damage and be able to predict wtf my plants are going to do. Will I get 1 AA out o fthem on a champ? 2? none? Are they going to attack each other?
