Duo LP gain

So for a little while into Season 8 I noticed that when me and my friend duo the LP after a win/loss is always uneven, and luckily it's in my favor.

But really why is that happening?

We thought it was the different lanes, so he goes top I got jungle, 20 to my 22. He goes bot and I support, he gets 20 and I get 22 and we try all lanes but it's always that difference

Were both S(IV) so it doesn't make sense to me.[zombie-brand-mindblown]

You guys probably have slightly different MMRs due to either your rank last season or any ranked games you played in preseason.

Ya I would believe that if we haven't duoed literally every game in preseason and this season.
