Make Mordekaiser Viable

So I have been a Mord player since I started (no, I am not Brazilian) and I know he isn't played for ranked because he lacks mobility or any kind of escape unless you want to count his ult as an escape. So why not give him some kind of minuscule movement increase of sorts, like a small speed increase attached to his W that dissipates over the duration of the spell? Or something of that nature? I know he is one of those champs that goes by the "a good defence is a strong offense" approach. But honestly, almost any champion is played more than he is in ranked and I find that frankly insulting to the Master of Metal. Any suggestions to some kind of increase to make him relevant in competitive play, please post. I feel at this point, he's only good for his guitar skills. Thanks guys!

Mord will just be banned in most ranked game if that happen. Also this is a tank meta so Mord do not need that much speed when there more then one tank on his team. Also with the lack of assassin being play he in a good spot.

I dont think he'll be banned. Like I said, a very minor speed increase; enough for him to close in for a Q slap or to just get away in a pinch if caught too deep and is subject to a gank. But I agree, being it is a tank meta and lack of assassins being utilized, he is looking fine in the field, but he still lacks something and it makes him a sitting duck in any scenario. People know he cant escape, and if caught in a bad spot (which happens in a lot of Mord games I have watched) he is just asking to be focused.

I take it you have never seen a fed Mordekaiser. There is a reason they keep him intentionally weak.

He has zero cc and zero mobility, compensated by very high stats and damage. This sounds better on paper, and if Mord is ever strong he becomes extremely overbearing because there is not really an effective way to deal with him, you can see this in the laning phase with his shield and spells which make it nearly impossible to trade with him.

To be honest he actually seems in a good spot right now. His winrate has been about 50% ever since the minor rework they gave him a couple of patches ago, and lately I have been seeing people do quite well with him.
