Pink ward slot or item for supports

I don't know if this has been proposed or not, however in recent seasons Riot has been focused on helping supports. I am a support main and love my role. One problem I have is I have an item that helps with wards but pink/stealth wards? That is where it gets complicated.

Scenario: 45 minutes into a game. Game is 20 kills to 18. Support items: Locket, Face of the mountain, Ruby Sightstone, Boots, Knight's vow, (situational item). Well where does my pink/stealth ward go? As a support I sacrifice a lot already keeping carries alive. Why do I need to sacrifice an item to be able to carry a pink ward? Placing pinks is paramount for vision. Late game however all support players get punished because there is no specific slot for a pink ward. Yes I understand with ruby sightstone the upgraded sweeper is up faster, however if you are trying to contest vision on an objective, what can you do? If the enemy has their own pink down a normal ward doesn't help. Placing your own pink prevents vision loss and stops carries from attacking the objective for a few seconds.

If supports have to sacrifice a lot to get carries ahead and to keep them alive at least let them build a full 6 items like every else to keep their carries alive. If you get support give the ruby sightstone a pink ward slot or just an item slot that only a pink ward can go into. I feel like this would definitely be a huge help for the person who keeps the team alive even in the most dangerous situations.
