Machete upgrades nerfed?

So it's a little tidbit from the last PBE update where they're upping the cost of the machete upgrade by 100g. Assuming this is to combat the clearing one side of your jungle, backing or ganking, then doing the other side trend that's going on.

My question though is why? And if you're going to do this, are you planning on making it easier to clear the jungle for champions already struggling? Vi, Lee Sin, and Jarvan don't give a crap about this change if you're intending on nerfing them. The extra 100g being required for the item is a really big deal for champions like Nautilus and Sejuani who get basically bent over in the jungle and are largely dependent on the current "trend" to get through their first clear without being murdered either by the jungle or by an easy counterjungle/invasion duel.

It's yet another buff to sustain/damage junglers and another nerf to the tanks, the opposite of what should be happening, who will end up being easy pickins for junglers like Lee, Vi, and Jarvan who Riot insist on being S-tier at all times.

You are serious? Wow... very disappointed in riot if this change goes through. This will destroy evereyone except a handful of junglers.

Evelyn cant clear a 4th camp without giving up the little bit of early game damage she gets from runes

Think ima go and just be anything but a jungler. The gold nerf and exp nerf already limits jungler influence. Having to back twice.for a.machete upgrade is.just too much

Just as when I was patting riot on the back for the recent jungle buffs to the XP/Gold/smite charges they are considering doing this? What the hell is the point of buffing the jungle if ur just gana nerf it again lol. C'mon riot don't choke.

I don't know if people are Really doing this type of thing. But I can't see it working well for anyone. If you back after clearing one side of the Jungle. You will end up with less time on the Buffs that you got in side said Jungle. Now Ganking is not a problem, but I would not waist my buff duration buying items. In fact, the reason why I do so well with champions such as Jarven is that I make Use of the buffs. Smite Krugs, take red, then go for blue. And those buffs will carry me though. It's also a liability backing in between buffs. Because If I ever figure out that you didn't go for your other buff, I would not think twice about stealing it.

I actually have a different theory about the price change, and I don't think it has anything to do with Summoner's Rift. But in Twisted Treeline, you could start with you enhanced smite and 2 health pots. This would give the Jungler on TT a fair ability to take Early aggression with taking their camps, and then Ganking. (as Early as Level 2)

with the Price increase TT Junglers might be able to start with it, but have no health pots. putting a strain on their Options. Since you can't get level 2 with one camp on TT.
