Playing syndra and 4/5 enemys went tanky diana mid went RoA What could i have done.

i ended up being useless late game after we had a sion diana(roa) leona, and lee that all went tanky as i was playing syndra i went with my normal build Ekko>Sorce boots>morell>halfway to void and although our adc was new and didnt beat support in damage i wanted to know what could i have changed to put myself in a better position to carry

Ludens echo isn't effective vs tanks, maybe if you are vs tanky team rush Morello then Liandries then void staff. 2 and a half items isn't really late game is it?

Thanks, well the latest part of the game lol, got to the point where cc for days and i was doing damage but diana blew me up and was tanky

In no particular order. You can swap the zhonya's for rabadons if you don't need it.

With this build, instead of trying to suicide for a huge aoe combo and nuking the Squishies, your job is to kite and shred through hp - take potshots, run around whittling them down, and use e for peel over picks.

when dealing with tanky people, is it really ok to give up the pen shoes?

Agh sorry for the late response.

I know it's counter-intuitive, but flat pen is MUCH stronger against squishies than tanks - it's more effective the lower your target's mr is. Against someone with more than a little mr, 10% cdr is gonna be much more valuable than 15 magic pen, and it's cheaper, and it gives you your sums more often. It's better in every way against tanks, but it does mean you won't nuke squishies quite as hard.
