We need an 'I'm okay' or 'roger,roger' type ping

I think that we need a response ping for when people are pinging danger or missing. Say if you are split pushing and someone pings you that they are coming for you, you can ping back like a thumbs up or something similar. Of if you ping missing mid and caution at bot lane, they can ping back the thumbs up.

I think this would be useful and would greatly encourage communication. The only alternative right now is to stop to type when that is just going to end up getting you killed.

How about adding a few different pings, and one of them is something we can pay IP to customize. Yea we have 4 pings now, but come on are we really not able to move our hands diagonally?

You could just use the same ping as they did to let them know you've seen them, I know this isn't "I'm okay" but it's atleast "I know they're there". Honestly there are just so many simple pings they kind of need to add that it would become a huge mess when they're all added and personally I think a warded ping is more important than this. I'd love if it also came with a thumbs down ping. Say I'm up in top lane and my jungler pings that he's coming my way. Right now I can ping that I'm going in as a makeshift agreement ping, but the closest thing to saying "I don't need a gank right now" is the danger ping, which could also be considered to say "proceed with caution". A straight up yes/no type of ping would be wonderful additions.

Yeah, having a ping to communicate that you are NOT in a position to receive a gank when precious seconds and potential reactionary time are at stake would make my life easier.

Mostly for things like 'don't engage, no mana' or that I desperately need to back for items to SURVIVE receiving a gank.

Definitely this. Taking the time to stop and say, no dont gank, or no, oom is not something you can always do without sacrificing cs and time. Pings would make it way easier.

To ping low Mana, just alt+click your mana bar on the HUD, it will ping your mana %.

Not the best thing and this definitely still needs a ping for "No" and "Yes" but something for the meantime.

Anyway,I honestly agree. There are these people who think spam pinging caution is going to make me run away when I'm playing kassadin/riven (I can run whenever I want, rather stall them), yet I have no way to tel them this cause typing would get me killed.

You add more ping options DESPITE the people abusing it, because it will increase the communication ability for the like 75% of the community that actually utilize smart pings.

VoIP I'm convinced is almost entirely because the community isn't sure they really want it. Toxicity in voice chat is so easy to avoid (as long as they let you mute it...) and it's generally simple to tell who is gonna be awful in VoIP, so there's no real reason not to implement it other than worry over community response.

It's so frustrating, I mean SSSOOOOOO frustrating when I constantly get pinged to fall back and I am in absolutely no danger (even wind up getting a few kills) because I know exactly what I'm doing. There are times when their "danger" ping is helpful but I'd have to say 98% of the time it's unneeded.

I would love this feature in League, but I think it would replace the missing ping's secret function. When someone does something strange, some people spam them with missing pings, and I think this would be an even worse one

What if they had it that normal pinging on top of the danger ping would turn it green with a thumbs up? Or some similar mechanic. So it would be used as a response to the red ping, but not clutter up the ping dialog with more options

Honestly, League should copy the CS GO communication system. CS GO has an INCREDIBLE communication system with pre-recorded responses and an easy hold a key down to speak setup.

With some flashing on the specific champion who used it on mini-map; that'd be great. Would save me having to ping until the game doesn't let me ping anymore because I have no clue if they're listening to my pings.
