@Morrello let's discuss aatrox/butterfly effext

Hello morrello I am solarus17 the 7th best aatrox in na, I have over 650k and got to diamond 4 last season just playing aatrox. Currently he is very underpowered and got recently butchered in the jungle withe the changes to devourer with no compensation that other att speed reliant champs like yi, shiv and not where given. In top he suffered a similar fate and this is an outline written by a European player demonstrating how small incredential changes in the top lane are pushing him towards becoming unplayable. Gameplay Buffs to Black Cleaver champions Buffs to Trinity Force champions Buffs to Ninja Tabi that totally fucks Aatrox

As an Aatrox main, i would like to give some examples :

Black Cleaver (3100g) : Darius, Olaf, Fiora, Wukong, Riven, Pantheon, etc. Usually Aatrox items to build against those : Ravenous Hydra (3500 gold)

That's a 400 gold advantage for all these match-ups. Higher base and scaling stats for all of them. With the exception of Wukong, they all have some sustain in one form or another (so don't bring the "Aatrox has lower stats because he has sustain" argument)

We should count the Ninja Tabi buffs that some usually build, that truly annihilates 12% of Aatrox's source of damage. Meanwhile, Aatrox doesn't have any viable item to build to counter those like Ninja Tabi does for it's cost. They all either do AA + true dmg (Olaf/Fiora), or abilities dmg (Darius/Wukong), so no Ninja tabi efficiency on those

PS: I don't act like they are ALL countering Aatrox in some form, i just want to show how small/incremental changes can fuck-up over match-up. Although, unwinnable matches against a good Wukong/Riven/Pantheon.

PS2: Darius vs. Aatrox is a extremely weird match-up. Most people would say Aatrox fucks-up all over Darius, but that's actually very incorrect. For me is a skill-matchup, because any little trade lost/won can be game-changing.

Trinity Force (3733g) : Jax, Irelia, Hecarim and God knows how many will start building it from now on (Trundle, anyone ?)

Usually the Trinity Force abusers counters to shit on Aatrox.All those stats for just +133g more than Ravenous Hydra (3500g). Actually a good item on Aatrox even with that wasted mana.

So, after all those changes of above let's add the :

Meta-tanks : Iceborn + Sunfire + Ninja Tabi tanks. Should we add a Frozen Heart + Ninja Tabi combo ? Let's say we have early game advantages over those. Believe me, in high ELO this means you should play aggressive early vs. those. A good jungler will gank the shit out of you if you try to bully the enemy laner, and before you know it, it rapidly transforms into a 4v5 game.

Marksmen top: Graves/Quinn top lane that stomps on the likes of Aatrox.

So, what's left ? Well, you've guessed it. Nothing.

Ohh, let's continue ignore Aatrox, and, INSTEAD, let's nerf Battle of Fervor (http://www.surrenderat20.net/2016/06/patch-611-notes.html#more) because we buffed Trinity Force. So... what ? After they buff a whole vs. Aatrox champion pool... they ... nerf the only thing that kept Aatrox at a 48% winrate... because they buffed the same champions that counters Aatrox ? So now basically i also receive a nerf vs. the tank-meta champions (Battle of Fervor champions should counter tanks) ????

Meanwhile, compensations buffs everywhere for everyfucking champion when they receive a slight direct/indirect nerfs (Ekko/Zed/Corki, etc.)

Meanwhile, NO. You have absolutely NO reason NOT to buff Aatrox until you rework him.

No, the "frustrating when ahead", it's not an argument. Everyfucking champion is frustrating to playwhen ahead.

No, no matter how much you'll buff him, his kit is EXTREMELY EASY to counter.

I've had games where i had like 10 kills in min 10, and still got one-shotted by a 0 kill burst champion (1k health Aatrox @ min 10-15).

You have AS slow items. AS slow spell effects, Ninja Tabi. You have the a WHOLE FUCKING dozen of items that can counter him.

YOU HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO REASON NOT TO TRY AND CHANGE SOME OF HIS FUCKING NUMBERS.

And if you're not considering this, then : Can we NOT count Aatrox from now on when we're talking about League of Legends champion pool, please ?
