Fiddlesticks Strong or Weak? 3/04/2016

Fiddlesticks used to and still is one of my favourite League Champions, but for a while now I feel like he is far too easily countered. Happy to be proven wrong, because by all acount it could be by lack of understanding of the champion rather the champion itself that has lead me to struggle. But i'll lay out my points, and if anyone knows of any reworks or buffs that are on there way it would be much appreciated.

1. Vision - Compared to when fiddle was released, vision has become a easily obtainable and partly free commodity. Because of this finding a position for fiddle to surprise ult in is near impossible. As if the opposition is well experienced, they well either ward areas in which fights are about to break out at prime points which Fiddle would ult (blue orbs etc.), or avoid blind spots all together. And if fiddle is seen ulting in an area which has vision, with all the cc on champions these days, it is likely he will get interrupted and his ult will go on its high cd with no refund of any sorts (sion q interruptions etc).

2. High Cd/interrupts (cc) - There have been multiple new champion introduced to Lol since the release of fiddlesticks, which means alot more cc too. With this in mind, it seems his W maybe a bit outdated. With a lowest cooldown of 6 seconds, it is quite easy that in this time of immobile draining, a champion can stun or (with the high mobility of champs these days) dash or run out of his draining range (same goes with his ultimate), leaving him to only auto after them for a, generous, 3 seconds until he comes of cd. But what about his q and e? Well his Q actually gives them a head start, fearing them away from his only source of real damage (W) and with his E also having a 11 second cd along with the fear. It means once these are used and when the highly possible stun occurs stopping his drain. It means his left spawning control 3 until his useful again a few vital seconds later.

3. Qss items - this note is quick. Since cleansing items have become so popular his cc moves have become less effective (especially with the as said high Cd) and quite simply, I don't think silversash should stop fiddles drain, silencing without cc is a bit bs imo.

Any opinions, knowledge of reworks or changes, or countering pov are welcome.

p.s. Fiddles ult compared to Kennen. Kennen no channel has aoe stun (slightly less damage, less range). Fiddle channel (interruptable), no stun, slow mobility champ (more range, slightly more damage).
