Can someone explain mentality to me?

So nearly every game is a one sided roflstomp that maybe you can delay to late game but people just give up. What goes through someone's mind when they are 0-1 and then go back to lane only to die a minute later? See to me, its play super safe, sacrifice farm to not feed, but it seems like that just doesn't click for others and i dont understand how it doesn't. I feel like even if you had even half a brain, you could figure out that if you died the first time you are going to die the 2nd time, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out, hell my 2 year old could probably figure that out for themselves. So how is it every single game people go 1-8 or 2-7, i dont get it. I feel like its intentional feed at that point, there is no way you can convince me that they arent either braindead or intentionally feeding, something has to click in your brain saying "no you cant fight the 5-0 garen who has a spirit visage with your 0-4 lux".

I guess I'm salty, but I'm trying to understand the mentality of these animals so I don't have an urge to cry myself to sleep realizing I'm winning lane 1v2 and still losing game.......

I believe the general mentality is "They won through a fluke, I need to kill them and catch up." The issue is that even if they did win through a fluke they are now stronger.

Another thing that can happen is you die, they don't back, you try to take advantage of having a component item over their dorans and you are a bit healthier but then you die anyways setting you really far behind.

  1. Not understanding the role, especially top lane. It's very easy to be snowballed in the top lane if you don't understand the enemy champion's dynamics. The lane is long and punishing for mistakes. Even if you try to play safe, you might still be too far way from turret.

  2. Tilt.

sometimes you have a bad day and you play like that and you make easy mistakes

If you die once in the lane early you don't have to play safe you can still agro a bit and go for a kill. I have one plenty of lanes where i died once or twice but came back played smarter and played into their tendencies and simply outplayed them. It honestly just depends on alot of factors and i cant make a clear cut example cuz there are way too many variables but i get what you're saying. One of my friends will just always try and fight no matter how far behind he is lul
